My journey in the hair industry started in 2007 when I enrolled as a student at the prestigious Terenzo International, The School in Melville.
Under the mentorship of Terence, Owner of Terenzo International I became the fastest qualified hairstylist in Terenzo history.
I became a member of the In Salon Education Team at Terenzo International and worked myself up to Education Director.

During my career I have been featured in Editorial and Online Publications like Vrouekeur, Beeld, Legacy, Babylon Calendar and Hairnews.

I had the honour to judge beauty pageants and to have worked back stage at numerous fashion shows.

In 2016, I was fortunate enough to be an esteemed judge alongside Terence on Via's (DSTV channel 147) DIE HARE WAAI. A reality T.V. show, where aspiring hairstylist’s competed for an apprenticeship at Terenzo International.

In 2018 I qualified as a semi-finalist in the L'Oréal Colour Trophy alongside the industry's most talented, Top 24 in South Africa.

In November of 2018 l opened my own salon at Terenzo Suites in Dunkeld Johannesburg and named it Wernology Hair Design.

I was blessed in 2019 with the opportunity to be the official hair partner of MODEL - A reality model search competition show on SABC2, SHOWMAX & NETFLIX. My team and I was showcased in Episode 3 where we had to transform 11 models in one day.

The proudest moment in my career this far happened in 2025 when I was awarded HAIRSTYLIST OF THE YEAR.

I love creating a unique bond with all my clients, giving them a luxury hairdressing experience with each visit to my salon. I believe that Education and Curiosity forms the base of Creativity.
